this is my younger brother stephen.
usually we write a when we write a tribute the person is dead and we say all kinds of good things of what he/she has done.
HAHAHAHA..MY BROTHER IS NOT DEAD YET OK!!
growing up with him has always been a pain in my ass.
after 6 years of being the ONLY precious child he comes out and destroys my perfect world.
but i have forgiven him since..haha
the reason i'm writing this tribute is because i have watched my bro grow from this monkey faced baby into a horrible uncontrollable hyperactive brat into a rebellious tidak apa attitude teen into a young man he is today.
oh ya, btw, he is 18 this year
i never took the time to realise how good my brother really is.
all i do is yell and command him to do things at home.
little did i know that he is a very talented person,
he can play guitar and sing exellently, he plays volleyball for school, joins CF society, exercises body muscles daily, helps out the older folks fix things at their house, the only one who cares to cut the huge grass land in our garden, and many other things i cant think of.
the best part is that he is VERY GIFTED in vocational skills.
he can open up any gadget (electronic, motor or wood structure) and fix it all back again in no time, he solves puzzles like it was baby work and i bet he can build and solve hands on projects without working out a sweat!
oh yes, we do have our funny whacked out moments as well!!
we played, we fought, we forgave, we laughed it away..
characterwise he is very much like my mom, patient and mild mannered
a humble boy who will take correction without grumbling.
he might be slow in some things but he is very meticulous and perfectionist about things
(we even fought about how to properly hang clothes on the hanger presciely on the line! omg, i was like, WHO CARES ! he was like, its a matter of life and death " _"?)
my lil bro has grown from a shy boy into an angry teen and now a young adult waiting to face the world after completing his SPM.
he is currently in national service as i type this
(must be marching like an idot under the sun now)
he is very homesick (he called home crying to mom) and has taken this time to reflect on his life.
God has his good timing.
from the past , so long ago..
and into the future, blood will always be thicker than water
my dear brother, i wish i could protect u from the cruel world outside but that is not under my control.
u have lived in a sheltered shell for so long.
i never want u to suffer what this corrupt and evil world is really like
they will tempt and mislead u.
i can only pray that God will grant u the strength and wisdom to pull thru the hard times and be grateful in the good times and remember to be faithful to the very end.
dont make my mistakes bro..learn from them for they are the hard and painful way.
you might be young and naive but u will make it through!
i have faith in you.
we all have faith in you stevie!
so here is he,
a son my parents prayed for many years,
the pillar which they have placed so much hopes and dreams,
a brother, playmate and companion to me and Samuel
a dear friend to all who know him
a guy who's heart beats after God's heartbeat.
a man who will be responsible and God fearing,
and in the future a loving husband and dad =)
i love u bro!
