i've searched high and low, asked ppl and googled with all my might to find a shop in penang but FAILED!!

For those who dont know what a MACAROON is:

according to others it tastes like a meringue but with flavoured cream in the middle! and i love meringues!

Still blur?
A macaroon  (mak-ə-ROON }}) is a type of light, baked confections, described as either small cakes or meringue-like cookies depending on their consistency. The original macaroon was a "small sweet cake consisting largely of ground almonds"
The English word macaroon and French macaron come from the Italian maccarone or maccherone. This word is itself derived from ammaccare, meaning crush or beat,[2] used here in reference to the almond paste which is the principal ingredient.
Most recipes call for egg whites (usually whipped to stiff peaks), with ground or powdered nuts, generally almonds. Alternatively, coconuts can be used. Almost all call for sugar. Macaroons are commonly baked on edible rice paper placed on a baking tray. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside.

I'm dying to eat something i have never seen or touched or tasted in my life!
the longing is great..the CRAVING is creeping into me!!

Somebody feed or tell me where to get these heavenly things in Penang?????
