i celebrated merdeka so "un patrioticly"
go church, lepak at tony's house, ate duck rice, watch him make tea the tratditional way, go buan's place watch child's play,head up beachside go watch sean swim in bt ferringgi, then round island on bike for 5 freakin hours (my butt is super flat and backbone dying), eat eat eat, see alot of scenery from bt ferringgi to teluk bahang to teluk kumbar to bayan lepas to georgetown and back.

point point, OO AAAaHH and laugh, see fishing pond, play @ Queens funfair, merempit together with the malays on the road( speeding can kill but it gives u a thrill like no other!), missed the fireworks@ esplanade, balik rumah..

H1N1 scare

i have all the symptoms of H1N1. continuous for 2 days ady. making me damn bitchy emo.
so in the afternoon went to USM clinic where they gave a bunchload of crap meds then at night condition never got better so went to General Hosp Penang with Suna to double check.

wah sei, line up bukan main lama panjang at the emergency department. the really sick ppl would have DIED in the WAITING ROOM. Gov hospitals are so so backward. where have all our taxpayers money gone to ah?

=eyeballs burning behind their sockets
=irritating fever on and off making me suddenly Antarctic cold then Sahara desert hot

Kopitiam tales <",)

2 separate incidences happened this week at separate kopitiams.

first one was in Vah Nam kopitiam back in seremban.

was having breakfast with dad and bro.

was poking fun with bro and arguing with dad (biasa la tu) until it was time to leave..

then the lady boss talked to me in Bm when i was paying.

she said "muka u sangat cantik, u dari indonesia?"

the cantik part made me smile and kembang lah but INDON? ape ni??!!! do i look like ur regular kakak washerwoman kah? aduii..i just smiled and walked away quickly...."-_- sweat..

second incident was that i FINALLY got to eat my 1am chap fan.

located on Perak Road, Penang, this shop is so packed u have to LINE up to get ur food! and boy, was it worth the wait!

YUM YUM YUM!! 4 thumbs up (toes included).

first time in my life eating rice at almost 2am in the morning! feeling? SUPERBLY SATISFIED!! =) must try!

today the fever subsided, arm pain return and vomited twice.

its a pukey yucky GREEN!! ewww..something wrong inside.

i blame the bladdy chinese med. eat d rite keep on wanting to sleep and puke.

i think they put rat poison in it to make ppl feel like crap and probably return for more sickness treatment.

*drive own car. this gives a sense of independence as compared to dependency in Penang.

*feel the sweet coolness of sban air and be able to sleep in till noon without any noise or heat disturbance

Pain pain painful swimming session

this was the initial faces of happy ppl swimming in the pool. my pretty lovable ex roomies Pei Sei and Lai kuan having a splashing good time

this is me not yet grabbed in the "penguin-look-alike-bak chang-wrap-" called swimming suit







we were joking and swimming laps when then suddenly Lai Kuan started to struggle and drown in the middle of the pool. i was looking out for her at the end of the pool! WAH LAO WEI...


she was struggling for dear life and the lifeguard punya response dah lah babi lambat, didnt go INTO the water but just handed her a stick to grab on!

BLADDY hell, just a mere stick! what if her eyes were closed. nampak babi meh?
So i like hero got so worried i got up from the deep end and RAN to the middle session..

halfway i FELL ON MY SIDE like the bowling pin hit by the big fat bowling ball. PLOP, hentam kao kao nicely on the hard pavement..
i felt 50 pairs of eyes BURNING into me. so many ppl were staring!! got leng jai and ang mohs and seniors i see everyday in uni life! MALU NAK MAMPUS WEI!!

still, i terus got up and ran to her aid..luckly my ex-roomie is still alive but very traumatised lah..





balik rumah pergi tengok sinseh (first time i see chinese doc, feel so cool when he put his fingers to my wrist to hear the heartbeat thingy- i know i ulu lah!!) he gave some med and 1 big hot plaster called koyok! haha..i was still in good spirits after seeing the doc..

after 3 hours later- BABI HELL PAINFUL!!

good lah..wanna holiday d but ended up like this..luckly i took Juwie's advice go see doc. at least rule out any possiblities of internal cracks! now the only thing cracking is my brain. i'm typing this with 1 arm. i feel how paralysed ppl feel now. it SUCKS!

My body is covered in bumps,

Doctor:

Have u been outside playing with the garden hose?
My oh my see how the mucus flows!
Here is a tissue, give it a blow!

What’s more, a cold, and the flu,
That’s what keeping you looking blue,
but don’t be upset;
I know just what to do.

Child:

Oh doctor, quickly hurry!
I’m beginning to worry,
If I will ever remember the smell of curry
Or the scent of my cute dog named Furry.

Doctor:

I’m going to give u a little jab,
So I want u to shut your gab,
Don’t scream till the other patients run,
Then it would spoil all the fun!

Or else u would be really sorry,

It’s been 2 days since I had my jab,

He cured me of every last sniffle and bump,
Got rid of my pain and and now I’m all better except for my rump.

Instead I’m energetic, rowdy and screaming like mad!
Best feeling I ever had,
Happy as a whistle being a cherry little lad.

weekend well spent =)

a lil update of what i did over the weekend.

the upcoming week even more busy with interview,going for senior's conv0, swimming, yoga, CG things, visiting heritage places, clowning on weekend and balik rumah (AGAIN) on sun!!

it is indeed energy zapping but then again it makes uni life so fufilling!

(thanks houzzies for making my pg memories so so sweet and beautiful. i think i have said thanks many a times but i'm really really grateful. i dont miss hostel life one shit bit! haha =)

tambun seafood restaurant where i first saw what mantis prawns look like alive!! (i was utterly shocked when i saw how they and crabs and horseshoe crabs were cooked alive upside down in BIG HOT BOILING WOKS. WAHLAO WEI- they were kicking n moving for dear life! kesian..

this came cold and tangy. i have no idea how ppl enjoy this rubbery fishy smelling expensive thingy called osyter. not my cup of shell.

i cant believe i went on a blind date. so random of me.

it was very casual, just makan and talked alot.

it could have been so dangerous. what was i thinking? haha! sometimes this brainless chicken does brainless things.
