This is undeniably a celebrity makeup line that’s worth waiting for and of course we are excited about. Sadly, not too excited, because while Dita Von Teese is creating a makeup collection, the future of its distribution stateside is dubious. It has to be noted that the burlesque icon’s line is in association with Artdeco, aptly titled "Dita Von Teese Classics"and will be released mid-June in Germany, where the brand is based, but sources state it could find its way over to other countries as well sooner rather than later.
Just to get an idea, Dita’s range consists of rosy blushes, neutral eyeshadows, stunning false lashes, nail lacquers, and six velvety lipsticks in shades of rich pink, orange, and (naturally) red, all designed by Dita with a completely DIY approach in mind.
Dita’s old-school, glamorous aesthetic is simply wonderful but her perception, in which she insists that with just a little bit of time and effort "anyone can learn to be glamorous", certainly deserves our respect!
