With one slap of her hand directed at her bereaved niece’s face, Janet Jackson revealed herself to be a vile excuse for a human-being yesterday.

But it was always ever thus. Twiggy Twiggy writes: “On her 2008 tour for Discipline, which I saw, my BFF and his then-boyfriend at the time were invited backstage at Rogers Arena (our O2) as part of a contest to meet and greet Janet.

They go in, wait 45 minutes with no refreshments and were ignored by Janet’s “people”, and then before she arrived, they gave instructions on how to “conduct” themselves “around Ms. Jackson”:

No talking to her directly. No talking amongst yourselves while she is present. No taking pictures until approved. No autographs. No asking for autographs. There will a be window of time to take pictures: not before, not after.

Janet finally shows up. When she walked in, she said “hello” softly, then turned to her manager and whispered loudly:

“Who are all these people??”

Seriously, THAT is how you greet your fans??? For shame.
They had photos in group shots ONLY. No one-on-one shots. It was over in less than 30 seconds. Then they ushered her out, and shooed the fans out.

She didn’t SPEAK to a single fan. Not one. Not two. Not several or any. NONE. Like they were animals at the zoo.

My friend’s ex was furious, said he doesn’t care who she is, she doesn’t get to treat people like that, “especially since no one buys her albums anymore”.

I’m very angry with her now. I have seen her on tour four times. I will always have my memories of her shows and records, but she has revealed herself to be a viciously ugly and indecent human being.”
