Funny mistake- LOCKED OUT!

this is how the problem started, the entire household was dead hungry n getting ready to go makan dinner so everybody rush here and there Upstairs while sandra was spring cleaning DOWNstairs.

tiba tiba pei yue looks at me and says, "u got take key rite? lets go eat.."

i said, what? "HAH wat key?" (holding cardboxes, all sweaty smelly covered in dust n god knows wat bacteria)

then cheng ping said "NO i didnt take keys also"

MATI LOH!! OMG! door locked.NO KEY TO ENTER ROOM!!

entire household waiting outside to eat and pestering us to hurry.

worried as we were..makan dulu baru settle problem..

when we came back we tried all sorts, poking pins, needles, use cardbox, plastic cards, kicking the door. nothing works!
so we went over and called samuel SOS!!!
since he is a magican tot probably he could use some tricks to save us!



mana tau he use stairs climb unto our balcony then cannot find the keys cause the room TOO dark. aduii..poor samuel got stuck on the balcony for 20 minutes i think.
he can climb up cannot climb down!!
we were panicking d!! how how how?
then suddenly the girl opposite house comes over and says:"use hammer whack damn hard in the middle and sure spring will click open! "
huh? got such a method? so we borrowed her hammer
(poor samuel was feeding mosquitoes at the balcony, all alone and hungry)



FINALLY!!
all of us took turns abusing my door whacking from all angles and all kinds of screaming were heard. AHH OOO..almost there then
POP! after cheng ping gave one hard whack the door really popped open! the technique works lah!

Doorhead still works but looks damn battered loh..poor door but yay for me!

i thank aunty evelyn and prisi on sunday for taking me out to lunch. its so nice to know that i'm loved. being with another family makes me miss my own family back home.
i now appreciate & love them on a higher level i never did.




big thanks to uncle Chung Kim and aunty kathy for taking me to dinner at the most delicious seafood restaurant.
i say delicious cause i dont eat seafood but the dishes served were too good i just whack only and went back eat medicine to block allergy!
it was raining cats and dogs, winds howling yet i felt warm because u and aunty shared family love with me =)



this happened on sunday. we went to pick ling mei up from ferry but the ferry got delayed so we played at the playground next door.
now u know WHY the titanic sank.
2 heavy whales were on board. Ahahahaa


we went for wonderful dinner at northam. eat this and that. been eating too much lately.
money flying. face chubbying. sban frens will be asking again " wah u very HANG FOOK oh living in penang..then i would smile sheepishly and say..eh eh...yaya

the cute things i bought during wednesday shopping spree.

omg..the sales are too good to be true. i cant keep the shopaholic disease from NOT spreading. sometimes indulging in sin can be kinda fun.

now i so pokai, i would have to eat air and roti kosong and air paip for the entire month..

Lastly, thanks Ling mei for belanja-ing me dinner at Nandos.

i'm thankful to her and Juwie especially for taking so much effort to make me feel happy to get over the heartbreak n uni stress.

life is hard but its so much easier to bear with good frens like them around me!

God is good. i would have died without all my supportive frens in sban and in uni ;)

the best is YET to come!! stay positive Sandra cheah!!

a discovery of the heart

haha, i've done it again.

yesterday before bible study meeting i woke up late so i grabbed a kaya bread from the kitchen. this time, i ate 99% before discovering-hey, the bottom is mouldy! no wonder the bread tastes a lil sourish. MOULDY BREAD DOWN THE GUTTER!

Gosh, i should OPEN MY God given sepet eyes more often. second time this week ady. my tummy has seem to grow accustomed to it tho. no violent puking or purging!

later into the night it rained and poured and lashed out like a monster. the winds were absolute madness. i sent vivian out to her car and got drenched n ass kicked by the strong winds. jess must have laughed at how silly i looked at that time. like a wet chicken hopping back with a tiny umbrella into the house. worst of all, after coming in, i realised i left the key at the main gate! aduiii..aiyoyo..out in the cold cruel rain again.

i was cursing the rain. its miserable to be both WET and COLD. but when its hot i curse also. anything that puts me in a position where i'm uncomfortable or i have to struggle i complain like hell. there is no pleasing me, and even mankind.

but before i slept, a thought hit me. Its the same with trials n problems in life. its cruel, hard and cold. many ppl curse at the moment. many fail to see that after the rain comes the rainbow. that perspective made me smile again. the beauty of the life after the dumps is breathtaking n hopeful. i'm looking forward to see my rainbow! ;)

SUrviving the 1st week

thank God its friday!

one hectic week of uni crap has ended. counting down the days to the next holiday!

i take this opportunity to thank those who have been praying and showing concern towards me since coming back..

it was very touching to know that u care ;)

a lil update on the little amusing things that have happened so far:

we, housemates of rumah 28 "borrowed" (permenantly) a tesco basket from the hypermart opposite our house. DONT go to tesco on mondays, they DONT GIVE OUT PLASTIC BAGS and they expect us to pay rm 20 cent per bag..ish ish..

1st clown training @ samuel's place aka next door. me and juwie literally climbed over the short fencing so no need open 2 gates.

this is my ballon fish and i'm baiting it with a ballon worm..


the beautiful hat ballon sculpture tahzen made. really wasting but very impressive! ;)

this is the sakai that lives next door to my room. makes a hell lot of noise n is super funnyly lame ;)

i FOUND the cheapest dobi(2 min walk from home) to do my dirty stinky laundry! they wash, dry, iron and fold for me! yahoo! no more hand washing crap for me! this news i REJOICE!

went to watch ice age in gurney. laughed till my sides ached!

they ate BBQ korean chic for dinner..i passed.

the green tea was good! so good that i couldnt sleep for the entire night. power man..

went to try out the new marrybrown restaurant at RST hostels side with Ahmed. not bad i say, last i had was like 10 years ago?

we celebrated cheng ping's birthday in our room. we had cake bits and champage drips all over my floor. the ants must have had a feast too!
