USHER WORKOUTS AND DIET

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:-

A proper nutrition program is essential for making your abs workout get results and make your core pop like Usher’s.  We all have abs, it’s just a matter of doing the things necessary to uncover them.  The workouts and diet below will certainly tone your abs and improve your core strength, but if you fuel your body with junk food then it will be impossible for you to achieve the washboard abs look you desire.
 WORKOUTS ROUTINES
Intensity Intervals:30 minutes on a treadmill or bicycle (must be within limits when you’re a hardgainer)
Strength:60 minutes of supersets and circuits
  • Arnold presses
  • V Presses
  • Modified Lateral raises
  • Push ups     
 ABS:(At least three times per week, Usher completes this abs workout. He does a move for 30 seconds, then, after a 10-second rest, runs on the treadmill for two minutes).
  • Incline Resistance Ball Plank 
  • Prone Knee Tuck 
  • Alternating Medicine Ball Pushup 
  • Upside Down Banana Crunch 
  • Egg Roll Crunch 
Static stretching:10 to 15 minutes. Usher  stretches for 10 minutes before and after every workout and employs a combination of Pilates, yoga, and massage to loosen himself up for dance moves.

Steam-Room Intervals: 5 minutes in steam, 5 minutes in a cold shower, 5 minutes in steam (The contrast of hot and cold stimulates bloodflow to help his muscles recover; the steam keeps his voice smooth and his skin toned.

DIETING ROUTINES 


Usher's diet consists mainly of chicken breast , fish, a moderate amount of carbohydrates (rice, pasta, potatoes, etc.) and lots of fruits and leafy veggies. Usher says, "I'm very disciplined. When I don't want to eat, I won't eat. I go on a fish, chicken and broccoli diet, and throw in some carbs - preferably sweet potatoes."

Breakfast: Watermelon is a low-cal food often recommended for dieters, because it can help satisfy a sweet tooth without adding extra padding to the tummy. It can also help maintain energy levels. With just 54 calories per cup, cubed cantaloupe is also a good addition to a weight loss diet. It also provides vitamin C and potassium.

Lunch:Usher’s lunch is usually a salad with dark greens like spinach. No word on whether his nutritionist allows him to use a low-cal dressing. He typically pairs the salad with fish.
 
Dinner: Usher often eats chicken and broccoli for dinner, and occasionally, he throws in a sweet potato for the carbs. This diet does need more complex carbs.
