1 malaysia?? ERM apa tu?

  • 1 malaysia?

big joke rite?
on the surface we do "look" united but i was thinking...are we really 1 malaysia?
DEEP DOWN ask urself, when ppl ask what are u...how many will answer- oh i'm malaysian just like the indonesians or americans or dutch..

do malays chinese indians and bumis and other mixed races really 1 people?
does assimilating all races make us lose our own identity?
to me its just a political slogan to win votes.
how is it possible to have only 1 language used?
like in indonesia everybody speaks indon (no matter wat race) then they deserve to be called 1Indonesia
do u see urself talking in malay to ur friends and family and lecturers or neighbours EVERYSINGLE CONVERSATION EVERYSINGLE DAY?

take a good look at ur schools, unis and workplace
who do u hang out most if given a choice?
who would u share ur secrets and gossips?
who would be the 1st ppl u call to ur parties and events?
when was the last time u purposely stike up a conversation with another race just for the fun of it not to get something beneficial for urself?
when was the last time u shared a meal with somebody the opposite race?

no offence to others out there
i have plenty of frens from other races and i do enjoy their company n friendship but this 1 Malaysia thingy is absurd

ask the gov to appoint a chinese/indian Prime Minister or
get rid of bumiputera rights in buying property or
get rid of the column stating race and religon in MYKAD or gov forms
get rid of segregation in school classes and uni quotas or
even ask a malay to come to ur house and eat ur cooking, right outta ur plate without asking any questions

IMPOSSIBLE lah...
if got also a small fragment of open minded ppl would do that

its so sad to see how fragile our relationships are in today's everchanging society.
one small spark and u will see malaysia torn apart into bits.
seriously, give me 1 solid reason and 1 solid idea that is keeping us united except the need to survive (not kill one another in riots and economy reasons?)
