Bodyguards and assasins movie review

this movie rawks man..eventho it was in a language i couldnt really understand- mandarin + canto (i was relying fully on the subtitles which kinda suck big time too)

story is that Mr Sun yat sen is coming to hong kong for this super important meeting and all these rebels (they call themselves revolutionist) try to protect him from the blardy evil Qing empress punya dog assassins.
ALOT ALOT ALOT of gruelsome gorry killing.

History in china is one complicated one bathed in sweat, blood and tears. watching this made me feel so patriotic suddenly. so proud to be chinese. (yalar, i'm proud to be malaysian too lah) but it gives me a sense of origins and belonging.

the story line is good. the words they use super "chim" deep meaning wan man..
i'm so embarrassed to be a banana all these while man..i've lost whats most important to me- my culture n roots! (smack face)
but SADly so SADLY (touching in fact) everybody dies except the Dr Sun..big sacrifice for a man all these bodyguards dont even know and died for him. for china. for the future!

RATING: 9/10
(for great wisdom in words, costumes and props and touching me from within ;)
