there is a malay version called PERGI by AIZAD (he won juara lagu recently)
i just watched talentime (local movie) by our late Yasmin Ahmad.
she is a pure genius + humanitarian + spunky + creative director.
even in her absence i miss her and all the advertistments u and i use to watch while growing up..
nobody makes movies and heart touching advertisments like her!
Talentime is a story about high sch kids.
there is love between a mute indian guy and a dutch-malay girl, Melor
every participant in the school talentime has a set of their own problems, has their ups and downs.
as usual, the plot is VERY interracial and promotes the very best of malaysians.
eventho a budjected movie, its a MUST WATCH!!
